Southwest Asia - Female Zeravani soldiers kneel in a 360-degree formation during a tactical movement class under the supervision and instruction of Italian soldiers near Erbil, Iraq, April 3, 2016. Female Zeravani soldiers, who are a branch of the Peshmerga, attend a three-week basic infantry skills course intended to improve their tactical knowledge to aid in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and allow Peshmerga to work in an environment where a female presence is needed. Erbil is one of four Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity locations dedicated to training Iraqi Security Forces.
